During one of the expeditions, the explorers stumbled upon traces of a great ancient civilization. Now, the expedition has a task to explore the island and find lost artifacts. But fearsome guardians will stand in their way on a quest to learn the island's secrets. 🎲Gameplay🎲 This board game is one of the rare gems that combine many different mechanics into one wholesome experience. Deck building, worker placement, resource management and exploration are only the tip of the iceberg, as many of these mechanics combine to create the multilayered strategy adventure. You are limited to one action per turn, so make your choice thoughtfully! Cards are used to place workers, but some of the actions require resources instead of workers. Decks are small, and randomness in the game is heavily mitigated by the wealth of tactical decisions offered on the game board. With a variety of worker actions, artifacts, and equipment cards, the set-up for each game will be unique, encouraging players to explore new strategies to meet the challenge. Detective board games bring up that "thrill of the hunt" emotion to everyone. Museum Suspects is no exception. 📖Lore📖 On a peaceful museum exhibit a rare piece has been stolen! Hurry, close the doors, the culprit and his possible accomplices may still be around! A number of highly skilled investigators are brought to the scene and are competing to find the thief or thieves among the 16 suspects held inside the building. Investigators will use their deduction and bluffing skills to find the culprit as they look for clues in one of the museum's rooms and cover their tracks to deceive opponents. 🎲Gameplay🎲 As investigator you will use your deduction and bluffing skills to find the culprit. On your turn, you must carry out the following actions in given order: 1)Investigate a clue 2)Suggest a suspect Investigate one of each type of clue cards (Animal, Hat, Item of clothing, Accessory, Decoration, Line, Column, Corner) to deduct from the 16 suspects and note this information in your notebook. When suggesting a suspect, place your investigation token of desired value either on one of the suspects or the exit tile. After 6 rounds, all clues are revealed and the culprit is exposed.
